Could you describe yourself?
A 37-year-old man with 20 years of experience in newspaper production. For the past five years, I have been working in the newspaper industry in Skåne within general and sports journalism. I have also started a book project. Proud owner of two chihuahuas. Master of the art of slow cooking.
What was your first Frilans Finans job?
Skanska Dagbladet needed a reporter in sports that could handle trot (harness racing), handball, football and the town hall beat. So they threw me into something where there was a need. The first assignment was probably a handball match between H65 Höör H65 and Lugi. The second may have been the Municipal Council reporting from Perstorp.
What do you like best about Frilans Finans?
That I don’t have to waste time and energy on financial administration. Partly that it eliminates the risk of making serious errors. Partly that one doesn’t waste energy being forced to do something that they think is boring – like all the hassle surrounding taxes and deductions and accountants. I am convinced that more people would have the courage to go from unemployment to starting their own projects if they really knew how easy it was.
