Mats Westerberg Craftsman

I'd prefer to have my own company, but to deal with owning an AB takes up a lot of time with paperwork and stuff. It’s nice to be able to avoid all that, with Frilans Finans.

• Could you describe yourself?

  I am 53 years old, and basically a trained welder. But I have worked in so many different fields, more than I would have imagined. For a while it was just hockey; I played in Djurgården and Väsby, and had thoughts of becoming a professional hockey player. Then I worked at a daycare centre, and then with flowers. And for many years I was a salesman, first in a TV and radio shop, and then in the construction trade. But in recent years I’ve been operating my own business as craftsman.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

  I’ll probably be doing what I’m doing now. I like what I am doing now, in this role.

• What is the absolute best thing about your profession?

  I like to be my own boss, not to be an employee of someone else. Since things are going so well, I usually work with someone who has an AB. We both take in assignments, and then help out each other to deliver on the assignments.

• What do you like best about Frilans Finans?

  That it’s so simple. It takes up so much time to have an AB and keep up with the paperwork and stuff. It’s really nice to be able to avoid all that, by using Frilans Finans.
